Project Overview

GoE supported the outfitting, transition and activation of a newly constructed 8,400 square-foot facility addition to the existing Building 42 at USARIEM.

Located at the Soldiers System Center, Building 42 provides support for research and development for the Warfighter in the areas of environmental medicine, physiology, physical and cognitive performance, and nutrition research. The facility houses an Occupational Health, Preventative Medicine and Industrial Hygiene Clinic, the Military Nutrition Research Division and the Office of Military Medical Support and Oversight.

GoE’s scope of work included:

  • Equipment Planning, including disposal of existing equipment
  • Transition Planning, including the transition of personnel to the new facility
  • Procurement & Acquisition
  • Activation Planning
