With its space constraints, the existing outpatient clinic could not accommodate the needs of Veterans in the local San Diego area. The new $27 million clinic is 31,000 square feet, three times the size of the existing facility, and has 28 exam rooms, 12 consultation rooms, 14 mixed mental health exam rooms, 2 group therapy rooms, and a medication injection room. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the new facility was designed to include physical precautions, such as plexiglass barriers, to ensure patient and staff safety.
GoE’s support activities included physical inventory of all FF&E in the warehouse and affected spaces, FF&E database management, reuse plans development, initial CONOPs, acquisition planning support, creation of acquisition packages, as-built drawings development, planning services, and decommissioning of furniture and medical equipment at multiple unique locations within the facility.
GoE’s full scope of services included:
- Project Management
- Warehouse Management & Operations
- Assessment Management
